We were commissioned by the charity RED January to write a piece of instrumental music that was motivational and uplifting for use in a new brand video. Calling upon the songwriting and vocal talents of Nadine Wild-Palmer, this evolved into the creation of a full song for commercial release, in support of Mind.
Our concept was to create a track that would both raise awareness and money for the charities - with 50% of sales donated to Mind. The song created a relevant link into media such as Radio, to start the conversation around mental health - particularly within younger and minority demographics. Support included BBC Radio, MOBO Awards, Deja Vu FM and Mind ambassadors such as Nicholas Pinnock.
