Classical training to Grade 8 on the piano, a BA (Hons) Degree in Music Technology/Innovation and years of experience as a club DJ all preceded a successful career in Global Brand Management for 101BPM founder, Leon Sanders.
After 10+ years looking after advertising campaigns (and often music selection) at companies such as Sony PlayStation, he left to pursue his life-long ambition of becoming a music producer. Quickly receiving critical acclaim from industry names such as CLASH and BBC Radio 1Xtra, he began to build a network of (and friendships with) talented artists. It quickly became apparent that there was an abundance of incredible independent music deserving of attention and perfect for placement.
Leon decided to combine his unique expertise in the worlds of music and advertising to connect independent talent with creative clients - 101BPM was born.
